After several successful Block Parties here in the UK, we have decided to go international. We've proudly partnered with Syscoin to host our first Block Party event in mainland Europe - and we want to see you there on the night in Amsterdam. Not only marking the start of Summer, June also saw the return of the Blocknorth Block Party! This time the event was hosted in collaboration with the outstanding team at DigitalCity, based out of Teesside University.The CPED venue on the Darlington Campus is a fantastic modern setting and was perfect for our latest evening of blockchain. ‘Party’ is a key word for these events – they offer an informal setting where we combine business networking with beer, pizza and informative blockchain presentations!
It turns out, all along, blockchain is not the technology of tomorrowNo, indeed, it’s the technology of today. We figure that part of the veiled mystery which surrounds blockchain is the pervading sense of mañana.
Blocknorth, along with Muckle Solicitors and Barclays Eagle Labs were delighted to be invited to present to the Common Purpose North East Of England Graduate Connect Event, March 12th 2019, which focussed on the impact of emerging technologies and their potential impact upon market sectors both in the immediate and in the future.
We’ve allowed ourselves a modest bask in the afterglow of our very successful first ever Blocknorth Block Party, which we ran in February at Barclays Tuspark Eagle Labs (a heap big thanks to both Andrew Dixon and so and so…).
The Blocknorth team were delighted to host our very first Block Party at Tuspark Barclays Eagle Labs, Newcastle-upon-tyne. It was a night of networking, discovery and learning on the subject of blockchain, with a particular focus on highlighting real life use-cases where the technology was right now making a difference in industry.
Blocknorth were delighted to be invited to speak at the Founder’s Friday event in November, organised by Paul Lancaster of Plan Digital & Newcastle Start-Up Week.
The Blocknorth team attended the inaugural FinTech North event in Newcastle on Friday 5th October at Hedgehog Labs.
